Do you need someone to hold your hand while cleaning out a closet, picking out a paint color, or just saying no? I can be that person, a cheerleader, a nudger, and at the end of the endevour A Victory Dance.
The Nudge is always based on what you need at the time and at Your pace. We all go at different speeds and at different intervals. It’s all OK! Everyone has a different processing time. Infact, I am still mulling over many, many parts of my life waiting for the puzzle pieces to click all in in good time and in perfect order as I try hard not to get in a hurry for answers.
Nudgeing can be done in person or by phone. We all need at one time or another someone at the other end just listening and cheering us on.
I needed this a couple of weeks ago while deciding should I repaint the countertop. It was OK but after all the time I had invested in the kitchen was OK good enough? So with a fresh set of eyes from my sister in law I repainted them. Was it worth it yes I know some would think this is seems trivial but what others may not realize is the amount of time I had in this project and the sweat and a maimed wrist. Sometimes you need that other fresh pair of eyes for ideas and viewpoints. Seeing the new repainted countertop I feel the kitchen is complete and it’s relaxing and just beautiful which in turn makes cooking a joy, and walking in there just completes the feeling of comfort which is so important in a home.
Your home is and should be your place of retreat from the harsh realities of life. A place of beauty and love.
