Things has been so busy at redposie these days that My husband Mike stepped in and help with the painting. He can be real sweet sometimes. I help him set up in the backyard and gave him a few tips on painting with Annie Sloan Chalk paint. and I went on and open the store for today's business knowing that he would do just fine . Annie says it is a girls paint….but boys can use it too.
I told him not to paint this table like you would a wall, but the best way to apply this paint is by dabbing it on don't do long brush strokes
You can't' go wrong when you use Annie Sloan Chalk paint it's so easy to use and time saving. When you consider you don’t have to prime or do a lot of sanding.
While I was gone Mike had 2 coats of paint on the table and first coat on 3 of the 6 chairs. I was very impressed that he decided to finish the table with the second coat; Mike said "I did it that way because the weather report was that rain was in the forecast and I could do the other chairs in the basement if it did".

I love this table! The color and technique are fabulous!
