Finishing up!

Powder Room Redo
When we moved in the house the powder room was acid yellow and green-who knows why. Even the cabinets and ceiling. I painted everything satin white. After the kitchen redo the powder room didn’t flow so it was time for a redo.
I took off all the doors and the hardware. I stripped the paint off the silver hardware which looks so much cleaner, and repainted the doors Candelabra White from Ralph Lauren ( my mistake paint) so it didn’t go to waste.
I spray painted the crystal knob screws satin nickel and washed the crystal knobs now they sparkle.
The black cabinet you see was ugly cheap plastic white it has no redeeming qualities what so ever! I purchased a wooden scroll for $5.00 painted the cabinet black added side trim and great thin silver handles for $3.87 each of course I already had the black paint and added trim to the top sink edge and it looks so much better.
I added a great glass sink shelf, $22.00. I also painted the gross plastic blue and black tiles since they had holes and stains in them and I didn’t have replacements so I painted the back sink wall and the side with the cabinet color.
Ugly little cabinet transformed
Caulk was added to make everything neat and crisp. I painted the trim the same color as the kitchen cabinets. Sometimes and this is hard to believe bright white can just be too much. I toned everything down with the cream. I kept the wallpaper since I’m still in love with it-Paris women.
A new bath for about $4.00 and lots and lots of free labor.

My new message board- chalk and magnetic
I found this at my favorite little French consignment store. $69.00.
Pictures are so difficult to find for my short long walls.
While I had the paint out I need to get rid of the ugly yellow paint Now the area flows from the kitchen down to the basement. I found this bookcase that fit perfectly in the space. It’s great for wine glasses, and now my potatoes and extra bowls.
